Mass recall of strawberry and raspberry biscuits in France
They were sold in supermarkets across France including Carrefour, Leclerc, Lidl and Franprix

A number of national supermarkets across France are recalling gaufrettes - or wafer biscuits - due to a manufacturing error.
The biscuits were pulled from shelves due to a warning over traces of plastic.
All the biscuits were wafers with a raspberry, strawberry, or “red fruit” filling.
Brands including Leader Price, Casino, Netto, P'tit Déli, Carrefour Extra, Delicia and Sondey had their products recalled.
All France sees recall
The main supermarkets affected were Carrefour, Leclerc, Lidl and Franprix, although some of the biscuits were distributed in Netto, Casino, Norma and Spar stores.
The products were sold either last week or the week before in shops all across France. They had best-before dates for around the end of 2023.
You can find the full list of products affected on the official recall website RappelConso, with products listed in the categories of ‘Céréales et produits de boulangerie’ or ‘Produits sucrés’ under the ‘Alimentation’ section.

Official advice is not to consume any of the products listed, and to either dispose of them or return them to the point of purchase for a refund.
For Lidl, Casino, Franprix and Carrefour supermarkets, the deadline for a refund is Monday, June 19, and for Leclerc stores it is Tuesday, June 20.
For Norma stores the current deadline for reimbursement is May 31, 2024.
