The Louvre museum in Paris broke its visitor numbers record in 2018, with 10.2 million over the year - a rise of 25% compared to 2017.
Museum president Jean-Luc Martinez said that a music video of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, shot at the museum, and the opening of the Louvre in Abu Dhabi had boosted its reputation.
