A family from the Aude who were refused cartes de séjour on income grounds and told to leave France have had their case reviewed and been told to expect texts to collect their cards.

The Interior Ministry said it investigated after Connexion flagged up the case.
It asked the prefecture to reconsider after finding normal procedures were not followed and the family were wrongly sent a combined card refusal and order to leave.
