Covid France: How will the weather be when terraces reopen on May 19?
Outside eating and drinking areas can reopen on Wednesday after being closed for more than six months, but will the sun be shining?

Restaurant, cafe and bar terraces will reopen around France on Wednesday (May 19) after having been closed since the end of October 2020.
Sadly, the weather service Météo-France is predicting rain for most of the country, with the exception of the Mediterranean coast, where there will be some sunny spells.
In the south the temperature will be relatively mild and is expected to be around 20C in Nice and around 17C in Marseille and Perpignan.
Elsewhere, it is predicted to be around 15C in Paris and Biarritz, 12C in Limoges, 13C in Brest and around 11C in Aurillac.
As this is still six days away, Météo-France states there is a 3 in 5 chance of its predictions being accurate at this stage.
The eating and drinking establishments will be allowed to open their outside areas on May 19 with a maximum of 50% normal capacity. Indoor areas are to remain closed until June 9.
There can be a maximum of six people per table.
