British Airlines has announced a new route between London and the Dordogne in south-west France for summer 2025, expanding its access to destinations in France.

The service – between London Stansted and Bergerac airports – will begin at the end of June with one flight per week in each direction (on Saturdays).

Tickets start at £117 one-way on the British Airways website. The flight will take just over 90 minutes.

It accompanies the airline’s existing route between Bergerac and London City which will fly up to five times per week between June and September.

A London Stansted to Bergerac route is already provided by low-cost carrier Ryanair, with several flights per week.

The new route is expected to give passengers greater flexibility on a route that is popular due to the high number of second-home owners in the area.

Alongside London City and Stanstead, Bergerac also has services running from Southampton, East Midlands, Bournemouth, Bristol, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Manchester, and Leeds Bradford, as well as from other European destinations.

British Airways flies to 11 other destinations in France: Bastia, Bordeaux, Chambéry, Figari, Grenoble, Marseille, Montpellier, Nice, Paris Charles-de-Gaulle, Quimper and Toulouse.
