This Gothic style château was built in the late 15th and early 16th Centuries.

Every year, around fifteen artists are invited to exhibit their work throughout the château, its outbuildings and grounds. The artists to be featured in the 2025 season were announced on February 4. 

The domain also hosts its International Garden Festival from April to November and was crowned France's first Centre d'Arts et de Nature.
