A pilot and YouTuber has received nearly 220,000 views – at the time of writing – on a video documenting a take-off from Nice airport.

Michelle Gooris, whose YouTube name is DutchPilotGirl, filmed herself at the controls of a Boeing 737 while it taxied, took off and flew over the Côte d’Azur.

During the video, the 29-year-old tells viewers about the devices used during take-off, the safety measures to be observed and the navigation techniques used.

Nice airport is known to pilots as being a spectacular - but demanding - landing site.

In all, DutchPilotGirl has had more than 17 million views on her channel.
