France is increasing its income tax bands to account for inflation in the 2024 tax declaration.
We review how much tax will be payable on 2023 income based on these new thresholds.
In 2023, the economy laboured under high year-on-year inflation, leading the government to adjust the tax bands for 2024.
They will increase by 4.8%, which will mean that many people may fall into a lower tax bracket next year, and consequently, pay less tax.
