A MURDER on the streets of Nice and with the victim kneeling to pray during a Muslim prayer service at that, Captain Paul Darac knows this could be delicate.
You would need a pretty cold heart not to be interested in reading on to see how this thriller continues, especially with its promise of a terrorist threat to the Nice leg of the Tour de France and a kidnapping to come.
Darac seems a bit of an ‘attitude’ rent-a-cop off some modern TV series but this gives hope of being worth reading... just don’t expect to find the locations in Nice as many names are made up.
