A historic French merchant ship that used to carry rum and cacao seeds across the Atlantic from Brazil is now carrying the Olympic torch to Marseille from Greece.

The Belem, a 127-year old former merchant ship that has been converted into a training ship, will reach Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône) on May 8 at 18:00.
