Buses are now all free in Calais
Calais is the latest city to make buses free, coming after Dunkirk, Niort, Aubagne and around 30 other French towns.

Users will still have to get a ticket – at no charge – before boarding to help the authorities measure passenger numbers. People who have already bought tickets or have an annual card will be reimbursed.
