Business start-up help in Brittany
Last few days to sign up to an English-language business course for the self employed.
A BUSINESS course will begin in Rostrenen in the Côtes-D’Armor on January 30 aimed at helping English speakers wanting to set up as self-employed.
Association AIKB, which helps English speakers integrate into the area, is organising the training for people who want to become self-employed, covering topics such as requirements needed to set up in business and understanding the economic environment, including the new entrepreneur scheme.
The course will be run in English by Centre Ouest Bretagne (COB) Formation and includes 12 group sessions, each lasting a day, once a week.
Each participant will have the opportunity to meet the trainer twice on an individual basis, to examine their project more thoroughly.
In addition to the course, participants will attend two French classes a week, each lasting three hours. Classes will take into account the commercial aspect of the course.
The scheme is partly funded by European funds, the Conseil Régional de Bretagne and the Conseil Général des Côtes d’Armor. Course fees are €200 and can be paid in three installments.
Group sessions and French classes will be held in the Manoir de Campostal in Rostrenen. Individual meetings will be held at COB Formation.
Places are still available. For more information call Anne-Sophie Oudin (who will present the course in English) on 02 96 29 26 44 or 02 98 99 15 10. Alternatively email as.oudin@cobformation.org
Or people wanting to participate can contact Elie Barbeau at AIKB in Gouarec on 02 96 24 87 90.
