Cyclists' 650km journey raises thousands for charity
You can still donate on riders' fundraising page after they completed Atlantic-to-Med journey for Cancer Support France

Cyclists are enjoying a well-earned rest after completing a 650km charity challenge - riding alongside the Canal du Midi from Royan on the Atlantic coast of Gironde, to the Marseillan Plage on the Mediterranean.
The riders have so far raised nearly €8,000 for Cancer Support France, which offers support for English-speaking cancer patients and their friends and families. There is still time to make a donation via the Cycle For Life 2018 fundraising page. You can click on the individual pages of the riders' taking part to give money.
Six riders - including two who have flown over to France from America just to take part - have ridden the entire length of the journey, which lasted 13 days - including two rest days. They have been joined each day by up to nine other cyclists keen to show their support. In total, 32 riders have done completed sections of the challenge.
The organisation's President, Penny Parkinson, said the money raised would help cover the cost of the annual three-day Trainers' Conference in November.
