Low-cost airline easyJet is to end services between Paris Orly and two UK airports from next month.

Flights from Bristol and Manchester will no longer run to Paris’ second-largest airport from March 28, the airline has confirmed.

However, both airports will continue to be served by daily flights to Paris Charles de Gaulle (Roissy), the French capital’s other major airport.

“Following a review of the routes, easyJet can confirm that from March 28, it will no longer operate [these flights],” said a company spokesperson quoted in several UK media outlets.

“We concentrate our efforts on maintaining and developing routes which prove most popular with customers, focusing on offering routes with the greatest demand,” the spokesperson added.

The only flight between the UK and Paris Orly this summer will take off from Southampton on Mondays and Fridays. It will begin in March.

Carrier shakes up French routes

The news comes after several changes to the carrier’s roster in France.

Last year easyJet announced the closure of its base in Toulouse – set to take place in April 2025 – sparking fears the airline would reduce the number of routes in the country.

EasyJet has not pulled out of Toulouse completely, but halved the number of flights out of the southern city.

Since then, however, several seasonal flights between France and the UK (as well as several other international destinations) have been announced.
