French second home rules change
On behalf of those who are UK-resident but may spend up to 180 consecutive days per year in their French homes, we bring to attention that, post-Brexit, we will only be allowed 90 days in any 180.
As EU members, with second homes we could have spent late spring, summer and early autumn in France without violating the rule.
France stands to lose a lot of income if the 90/180 rule is put in place, as most second-home owners do not over-winter.
It would surely benefit from retaining the 180/365 rule as part of the withdrawal agreement.
