Kouign-amann in US top 40 recipes

Brittany’s classic Kouign- amann gâteau has been named in the US magazine Food and Wine all-time top 40 recipes, along with mousse au chocolat and Grand Marnier soufflé.

It comes as a survey found 20% of French restaurant meals had dessert, twice as many as in other European countries. The average bill was €12.80 with dessert, €9.80 without.
