Young adults and children are most affected
Measles is spreading in the Bordeaux area, with some 72 cases, including a dozen hospitalisations.
It spreads via air (eg. from coughing); symptoms are like flu, then spots develop. It can cause brain complications and even death.
Families are asked to check everyone is vaccinated.
