More drivers pay for parking as fines rise
260,000 fines were issued during the first month of changes being implemented
More drivers are paying for their parking in Paris after the city increased fines from €17 to €50 in the centre and brought in private parking wardens.
Only 7% of drivers previously paid for parking and this rose to 17% in the first month of the new fines.
