Air quality described as 'very bad' in three Brittany cities

Speed limits in on certain routes in Brittany have been cut by 20kph in response to high levels of ozone pollution.
The limit on expressways - the region's autoroutes - have been cut due to the pollution spike, which has prompted a 'red' air quality alert.
Three departments in the historic region - Finistère, Côtes-d'Armor and Ille-et-Vilaine - are on 'red' pollution alert. In Saint-Brieuc, Saint-Malo and Brest, pollution levels are said to score eight on a scale of one to 10 - indicating that the air quality is 'very bad', air quality monitor Air Breizh said.
