Premier League young guns on show in Périgord
For the third year in a row, a Chelsea XI will play Bergerac Périgord in a pre-season friendly

Football fans can get a glimpse of Premier League stars of the future when reigning English champions Chelsea bring a development team to France at the end of July.
It will be the third time in as many years that the English giants have faced French opponents Bergerac Périgord during pre-season preparation. The first game in 2015 ended in a thrilling 4-4 draw, while the French side won last year's return fixture in Cobham 2-0.
With pride on the line, Chelsea's young guns, under the watchful eye of coach Joe Edwards, will be out to avenge last summer's defeat when they come to Bergerac's Stade Gaston Simounet on July 29.
England age-group internationals such as under-20s Jordan Houghton, Charlie Colkett and Jay Dasilva were among the players who featured at Cobham last summer - and the Chelsea XI taking to the pitch this year will be packed with young talent, some of whom have played on loan for the likes of Olympique Lyonnais and Ajax.
The Périgord club has a host of events lined up before the match kicks off at 6pm, including a range of football workshops, food and drink - including some real ales - as live music, and a tombola featuring prizes including flights from Bergerac to Naples or London.
Ticket range from €8 to €15, and entry is free for under-12s in the pelouse and for people with reduced mobility. They can be bought at The Gambetta tabac in Bergerac's Place Gambetta, or are now available online by clicking here
