Tax at source and pensions in France
How will taxation at source work for those of us receiving pensions from the UK?
I am lucky enough to receive a state pension and an army widow’s pension. I know the state pension, not taxed in UK, is subject to tax here in France, and my army pension is taxed “at source”.
I cannot imagine Newcastle taking on the task, and although I read the local newspaper (how often they mention Brexit!), and I have received the letter from the tax office, no mention of how expat pensions will be affected. I have also read that it might not happen after all!
