US giant eyes more stores across France
Members-only shop Costco has opened its first store in France and the US giant says it aims to have four or five shops in Ile-de-France and one or two in the south.

The first store, at Villebon-sur-Yvette, Essonne, drew 20,000 members in the first few days, each paying €36 for the shopper card.
The firm now operates more than 730 warehouse units globally, with most being in the US.
