Unfortunately, no, a UK vet cannot give the jab.

Since a French pet passport is an EU document, rabies jabs required for the passport should not be administered by a UK vet now the UK has fully left the EU.

This was confirmed to The Connexion by the French Agriculture Ministry, which said that only EU vets must do the pet’s jabs for a French pet passport.

A UK government source also said that Britons using French pet passports should ensure that UK-based vets “have no input” into it, as this could invalidate it.
