Reader question: I know that travel is very restricted right now, but I was wondering if there was anywhere that I could see all these rules in one place? It is complicated to go searching country by country
There is one website that responds exactly to this reader’s needs.
Reopen.europe.eu has all the latest information on travel restrictions around the 27 EU countries. It is laid out clearly on a map so that users can click on whichever country they would like and see what rules are in place there.
The restrictions, including aspects as to whether PCR tests are needed for entry, if there are local curfews or lockdowns, etc. are updated regularly.
The website is available in various different European languages, including English and French.
Currently travel from France to other countries, inside and outside of the EU, is “strictly unadvised until further notice”, the government has stated.

Travel within France is still permitted, with regional borders remaining open.
