Can I split my employment on a seasonal worker visa?

How to legally adjust your seasonal work pattern across different seasons with a single visa

You may wish to split your year on a seasonal work permit

Reader question: If you obtain a seasonal worker visa, can you split your work in a given year and, for example, work three months in winter, three in summer?

Yes, this is possible, however your employer would need to specify this arrangement in the contract with yourself, that should be drawn up and signed – usually remotely – before you start work.

If, however, the employer wants to employ you again in a future year, then usually they would have to obtain a new work permit for you.

Typically, however, you will not in this case need to apply again for another seasonal worker visa, as these are often valid for three years.
