Covid rules: Will salles des fêtes reopen on December 15?
Function and event halls have been closed during lockdown
Reader question: I've seen nothing in the announcements about salles des fêtes /salles de convivialité. My wife and I both attend classes, and our associations hold events. Are these activities allowed from 15 December?
An operator for the coronavirus helpline told The Connexion that unless the government announces otherwise, salles des fêtes / salles de convivialité (function rooms or event halls) will remain closed until at least January 20.
This is due to them being enclosed spaces and an area where coronavirus clusters could appear.
All other large gatherings will also remain prohibited until at least January 20.
