Did I make the tax deadline?
I took my tax declaration to my tax office on the deadline day hoping for advice before submitting it. I found the office was closed all day but a sign said to put papers in the letter box. I went back later in the day having completed my form myself and posted it but I noticed that the box was full, with a few hours to go before the deadline. Is this normal on declaration day? Can I assume my form will have been deemed to have been filed on time? V.K.
Yes, this is quite normal, and if your form was in the box then it will be taken into account.
