Late-running 3G on RER...
Statement causes mockery
Plans by Paris travel authority RATP to have 3G mobile services on all its lines by the end of 2019 have been mocked by users who said the plans were running two years late as an RATP tweet from 2015 promised 3G on the Métro and RER ‘by the end of 2017’.
RATP blamed technical problems but said a third of the network already had 3G/4G coverage and another 120 stations would be added by the middle of this year, with full service in 2019.
