Mix-up at the tax office
Our tax office keeps mixing us up with an expat who has a similar name and date of birth to my husband. We have explained this to them before but this year on our form they changed my husband’s numéro fiscal to the other man’s and put his telephone number and email address. We are concerned, especially if our details are being sent to the other person. Can you advise? A.S.
The best course of action would be to write under a recorded delivery letter with reception slip, setting out as many of the facts as possible as they concern you and requesting that you not be confused with the other person.
