New cancer follow-up checks for women
Women are to be offered a new free cancer check and advice to help prevent breast and womb cancer.

It will start from January next year.
At the age of 25, women can ask their GP for an appointment for a focused session on screening and cancer risk factors and then from 50 will get a letter offering a personalised cancer check-up with a mammogram and free ultrasound scan, if needed.
