Pledge to end home tax
President Macron has pledged to end the taxe d’habitation for all households by the end of his presidency.
This year around 80% of households will benefit from a first (one-third) reduction, leading to two-thirds in 2019 and full exemption in 2020. This does not apply to second homes.
