practical Is UK-France tax treaty changing? I received a letter from HMRC after filing a France Individual tax form to obtain relief from UK tax on a state pension. It said: “The exemption will apply as long as you are resident in France or until the double taxation agreement between the two countries changes. I may write again if I need to review the double taxation relief.” Does this mean the UK is thinking of abandoning the double taxation agreement with France? P.C.
