Travellers across the French rail network are facing delays this morning after national rail operator SNCF suffered a nationwide computer failure.
The rail operator notified passengers this morning (February 11) about the breakdown and delays on its various local and regional social media sites.
The issue is affecting regional TER services across the country as well as local commuter rail lines (RER) in Paris. High-speed TGV services have not been impacted.
Routes in the Île-de-France and south-east are reported to be most affected.
The computer breakdown was fixed at around 06:00 according to the SNCF, however delays have lasted into the morning due to the issue.
Services are gradually set to return to normal throughout the day.
You can check train timetables through the national SNCFConnect website or smartphone application, or local SNCF websites.
