This Saturday (May 6) will see the coronation of Charles III and will be marked by celebrations across the UK.
But what if you live in France?
Here, theConnexion lists some of the events available for our readers to attend, either during coronation weekend itself or throughout May.
Public events for the coronation
The Standard Athletic Club in Paris is hosting a ‘Grande Fête’ on Saturday, May 6, for members and non-members alike. The event will be held in Meudon, and you can purchase tickets here.
The British Association of the Côte d'Opale will host a Coronation picnic on Sunday May 21, in Contes, Pas-de-Calais. Entry is free, but you need to contact George Murray (georgemurray@sfr.fr) to register.
The British Community Committee of France will put on a Coronation Cocktail Party on Monday, May 22, at the Terrasses of Salon Hoche, Paris, to celebrate. Tickets will cost €45 and include champagne, wine and canapées, and can be purchased here.
