Brittany police are investigating after an empty, overturned camping car was discovered in an almost vertical position in a roadside ditch.
The vehicle was found in a roadside ditch near Saint-Malo in Ille-et-Vilaine (Saint-Meloir-des-Ondes) at midday on Saturday (February 15).
It was caught under electrical cables running alongside the road.
No driver or passengers were present, however witnesses say they saw people leave the crash on foot without any obvious injuries.

Local police have taken to social media in search of further information surrounding the “spectacular accident.”
“While we wait to locate our intrepid or blessed driver as soon as possible, we would like to reiterate our advice to BE CAREFUL on the road!” states the Ille-et-Vilaine gendarmerie on Facebook.
Social media users cannot understand how such a heavy vehicle could end up in this unusual position, some joking that the driver maybe wanted to empty the toilet, change the oil or check the exhaust.
“I've never seen anything like it,” Captain Horais, second-in-command of the Saint-Malo police station, told Ouest-France.
